Kan Ze was an adviser of the Three Kingdoms Period that served under Sun Quan. In the Battle of Red Cliffs Kan Ze acted as a convoy to the camp of Cao Cao as a part of the plan of Zhou Yu to have Huang Gai fake his defection to Wei. Following the subsequent invasion by the forces of Shu, Kan Ze recommended the young brilliant strategist, Lu Xun to oppose them as the grand viceroy.
