Kan'onji, Kagawa

Kan'onji (観音寺市; -shi lit. Kan'on temple) is a city located in Kagawa, Japan.

As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 66,443 and the density of 596.16 persons per km². The total area is 117.45 km².

The city was founded on October 11, 2005 from the merger of the towns of Onohara and Toyohama from Mitoyo District.
