Kaminia is a famous and beautiful neighborhood of Piraeus. Almost all residents of Kaminia are Olympiacos fans because The Karaiskaki Stadium (in Greek: Γήπεδο Γεώργιος Καραϊσκάκης)is only blocks away.Kaminia is also home to the Koutsothanasis bakery which produces fresh bread and pastries daily. It is a family business that has been around for over 50 years. Most people in Kaminia know about Mr.Koutsothanasis' bakery because of the quality he delivers. Kaminia residents also had to suffer the horror of Gate 7 (THYRA 7) which was the devastating trampling of many Olympiacos fans. Kaminia neighborhood is also known as the motherland of "mages"(μάγγες) a greek expression for the good , honourable, tough and straight men all over Greece. Furthermore is the homeland of a popular car audio team named BASS JUNKIES by SIMONIDIS created and still organized by Anastasios & Vangelis Simonidis. Moreover Anastasios Simonidis runs a Car Audio Shop in a neighborhood near Kaminia named Nikaia and and he has created a website http://www.bassjunkies.gr and lastly a great forum that everyone is welcomed to join in http://www.bassjunkies.gr/forum
