Kamen Rider Den'ou (character)

Kamen Rider Den'ou (仮面ライダー電王, Kamen Raidā Den'ō^?) will be the main protagonist of the 2007 tokusatsu, Kamen Rider Den'ou. The Rider will have four forms based on various weapons and will also use the power of electricity.

Using different Pass Cards, Den'ou is able shift from his original form into other forms. The blue Pass Card allows for the Rod Mode, the Yellow allows for the Axe Mode, and the Purple allows for the Gun Mode.

[edit] Sword Form

Kamen Rider Den'ou's basic form is Sword Form and uses Momotaro and a phoenix motif. In this form, he commands the sword weapon modeled after a Bullet Train known as the Den Gasher. Of all his forms, this is Den'ou's most balanced.

[edit] Rod Form

Rod Form uses Urashima Taro and a turtle motif and is the second form of Kamen Rider Den'ou. Its main weapon is a long rod that is uses for fighting. Den'ou gains extra protection and strength in this form at the cost of speed.

[edit] Axe Form

Axe Form uses Kintaro and a tiger motif and is the third form of Kamen Rider Den'ou. It uses a powerful axe for short range attacks. At the cost of power and protection, Den'ou gains advanced speed in this form.

Gun Form uses Tatsunoko Taro and a dragon motif and is Den'ou's fourth and final basic form. Using a powerful gun, this form allows for both short range and long range attacks. In this form, both Den'ou's speed and power are advanced, making it the strongest of his basic forms.

• Device Type: Pass Buckle ('Henshin' Belt)
• Animal: Dragon, Tiger, Turtle, Phoenix
• Color: White
• Henshin System: Inserting one of the four henshin tickets into the Rider Pass
• Form Change System: The user selects one of the four colored buttons and then inserts an according Rider Ticket into the Rider Pass.
• Pass Announcement: "PASS TO SWORD!!!" "PASS TO ROD!!!" "PASS TO AXE!!!" "PASS TO GUN!!!"
• Primary Finisher: FULL CHARGE - Through as of yet unknown means, the rider belt will play a role in activating the primary finisher. The finisher attack type will also vary depending on Den'ou's current form.

Modeled after a bullet train, Den Gasher is Den'ou's primary weapon. The Den Gasher is made of two weapons attached to Den'ou's belt in sword mode. When changing to other forms, the two parts that make up the Den Gasher can be combined to form a different weapon for each mode.

[edit] Den Liner

The Den Liner is Den'ou's transportation system, it is mainly used for traveling to other dimensions and launching attacks against giant monsters.

• Gouka: A four cart formation used by Den'ou Sword mode.
• Isurugi: The turtle train. Isurugi is Rod Form's one cart formation Den Liner. The top of head cars lifts up and a tortoise type machine appears.
• Kouki: The tiger train. Kouki is Axe Form's one cart formation Den Liner. Five axes appear from the each side of Kouki and a single large axe appears on the head of the cart for various attacks.
• Ikazuchi: The dragon train. Ikazuchi is Gun Form's two cart formation Den Liner. The upper half of the body of a dragon appears from the top of the head cart and the tail of a dragon appears from the top of rear cart.
