Kalish

The Kalish are a fictional alien race in the Farscape universe. They are mainly represented in the series by the character Sikozu, although she is an abnormal case.

Kalish are basically humanoid, with a golden, somewhat fish-scale-like patterned tint to their skin, and red hair. They are able to "shift their center of gravity" in order to walk on walls or ceilings. They also appear to have regenerative abilities, being able to reattach severed limbs. Sikozu cannot use translator microbes, but it is unclear if this is true of all Kalish.

The Kalish are a client species of the Scarrans, and serve a similar role as the Vorta in Star Trek. They, like the Vorta, act as the bureaucrats and techs of the Scarran Empire. There is a segment of the Kalish population that desires independence.
