Kalamos (Greek: Κάλαμος), known in antiquity as Karnos (ΚΑΡΝΟΣ), is a mountainous Greek island in the Ionian Sea. It has an overwintering population of around 600 people, which is swelled substantially in the summer by tourists. The name Kalamos means reed in Greek. Kalamos is a community in the prefecture of Lefkada. Its municipal code is 3603. The are is approximately 20 km². Its highest point is 745 feet (around 225 meters) above sea level.

The main settlement on Kalamos is the port town of Kalamos, on the east coast of the island. From here a regular ferry service connects the island to Mytikas on the mainland. Episkopi is the only other inhabited village on the island. The village of Port Leone was abandoned following the 1954 earthquake, whish destroyed the water supply, but its church is still in use.

Kalamos has a school, a churche and a squares (plateia), it nearest lyceum (middle school) and gymnasium (secondary school) is in the Aitoloakarnania prefecture but most of its students also attend in Nydri.
