Kalamaki

Kalamaki is an alternative name for souvlaki, with the name derived from "κάλαμος" (kalamos) meaning reed. It is also the name of several Greek towns, namely:

  • Kalamaki, a village in the northwestern part of the Achaea prefecture

Moreover, it is the ancient name - up to 1925 - of the Turkish town of Kalkan.
