Kal is a fictional character who appeared in the TV show Smallville. He is the "reprogrammed" version of Clark Kent.

Kal is the reprogrammed version of Clark Kent. He has no inhibitions and was only focused on accomplishing his mission which was to collect all Kryptonian crystals. He rarely speaks and in the end, engages in a battle with Clark but is killed when Clark exposes him to Black Kryptonite.

[edit] Powers and Abilites

Kal seemed to possess all of the abilities that Clark will once he becomes Superman. Kal is able to fly, has superstrength, superspeed, heat vision, x-ray vision, and super hearing. When Jor-El "reprogrammed" Clark, he also gave him all of his future abilities. But, once Clark was turned back to normal, he lost all of the abilities that Kal had and went back to having the abilities he had before becoming Kal.
