Hatsukari was replaced by Super Hakucho after opening of Shinkansen Hachinohe station.

Kaikyo Line is the official name of the section from Nakaoguni (Aomori prefecture) to Kikonai (Hokkaido), which is newly built for connecting the two islands. It is a part of unofficial Tsugaru Kaikyo Line, which indicates the whole line from Aomori to Hakodate. 218.222.155.157 18:15, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)
