Kaiser blade
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A kaiser blade is a heavy hooked steel blade at the end of a wooden handle usually 3 to 4 feet long, primarily used for cutting small to medium sized vegetation. It is double edged, and generally both sides are kept sharp. It has the potential to be a very lethal weapon. This tool is also known as a ditch bank blade, brush axe or a sling blade. The kaiser blade became a pop culture icon in its role as the favored weapon of Billy Bob Thornton's character in the movie Sling Blade.
