Kainan, Wakayama

Kainan (海南市; -shi) is a city located in Wakayama, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 44,652 and the density of 727.82 persons per km². The total area is 61.35 km².
The city was founded on May 1, 1934.
