Kaida, Nagano

Kaida (開田村; -mura) is a village located in Kiso District, Nagano, Japan.

As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 2,026 and a density of 13.55 persons per km². The total area is 149.54 km².

On November 1, 2005, the village merged with the town of Kisofukushima merged with the villages of Mitake and Hiyoshi to form the new town of Kiso.
