The Kaema Plateau is a highland region of North Korea. It varies between 1,000 and 2,000 meters of altitude and at 40,000 square kilometers is the largest tableland on the Korean Peninsula. It covers parts of the provinces of North and South Hamgyong, and North and South P'yongan.
