Located in Ulverston, England and consecrated in July 1997, the NKT-Kadampa-Temple is the main meditation hall at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, and the location of annual Spring and Summer Festivals attended by New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) Buddhists from all over the world.

This was the first NKT Temple to be constructed through the NKT International Temples Project - Building for World Peace. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso initiated this project with the intention of building Temples dedicated to world peace in all the major cities throughout the world. Other NKT Temples are currently under construction in various countries.
