The image Image:KaDee Strickland in The Grudge.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyright, I (Extraordinary Machine 02:31, 22 August 2005 (UTC)) feel it is covered by fair use because:
- No free or public domain images have been located for this actress or this film.
- The screenshot does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the film in any way.
- The screenshot is intended to represent the actress, and only the actress, in her most widely seen significant role. Its inclusion in the article is important because it represents a significant point in the actress's career that is overviewed in the article. Additionally, the image illustrates a quote in the article made by the actress herself, about how Jane Fonda's performance in the film Klute inspired her performance in The Grudge: "Fonda had this brilliant way in that film of creating tension and fear for the audience just by walking down a hallway and looking over her shoulder." It should be noted that the image depicts the actress walking down a corridor and beginning to look over her shoulder. In other words, this image is the most suitable image to accompany discussions related to the actress's role in the film.
