I feel kind of bad about this game. It is probably just one of those games that should not have been released outside of Japan. One of the aspects that was criticized is the atmosphere, but it holds so incredibly true to traditional kabuki as far as some of the characters, famous quotes, sets, and the structure of the main mode. Although very simplistic, I think it's very solid in play mechanics as well. Heckles, I'd even say the game is as good as average to people who are into kabuki in any way. It was made by Crave, a British company. And it didn't sell well in Japan either, like the entire Xbox library there. Neoyamaneko
