Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is a 1993 Indian film directed by Kundan Shah. Shahrukh Khan plays the role named Sunil. The film also stars Juhi Chawla(in a guest appearance), Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Naseeruddin Shah and Deepak Tijori. The film was considered one of Shahrukh Khan's best performances. He received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance for his role.

The film is about Sunil (Shah Rukh Khan), a small town guy of Goa. He has only two passions - music and Anna (Suchitra Krishnamurthy), his lady love. While he is hated by his father for his first passion, his second passion is impressed by Chris (Deepak Tijori) instead, another musician in their band. Fuelled by their blossoming romance, Sunil tries to create misunderstandings between the two but the truth gets divulged finally. How Sunil makes his journey to his love but finally decides to sacrifice it when he realises the reality showing his courage and purity is what Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is all about.

  • The film stars Ashutosh Gowariker as one of the members of Sunil's(Shahrukh Khan) band. He later went on to direct the Oscar Nominated Lagaan and the critically acclaimed Swades, where Shahrukh Khan played the lead role and gave a performance second only to this movie.
