Hello K Lantis, I would like you to stop please changing the formats of my pages, which have been carefully designed to follow specific visions of concepts regarding KOF characters. I'm talking about what you did with Kyo. The new age's art is NOT what we should use for the MAIN, I stress the word MAIN portrait of Kyo Kusanagi's profile on Wikipedia, the longest encyclopedia in the world wide web. Kyo deserves to be portrayed preferably with THE OLD SNK ART, the more serious style and more realistic, less cartoony/anime and flat/high res. It looks too bland, which makes Kyo look bad, specially considering that that is the conception that some people have of him, a guy with no muscles, and that ISN'T Kyo.
I didn't post the art, WTF?

[edit] Kyo and Iori
Nice try at hiding your blatent comment edits on Iori Yagami and Kyo Kusanagi, removing the the small amount of quotes that were there from the article. However, some of us aren't fooled quite that easily. -MegamanZero 08:03, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh and btw, nice try writing those "no." comments on several revisions too. Please get some etiquette, and show that you can make responsible edits.-MegamanZero 08:03, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] On Second thought....
I've been thinking, and I must say, despite any actions we do not agree on, I still acted in a inpolite manner. Especially considering that you are new here, and I should be helping and not biting heads off, I'm very sorry. Please forgive my rude behavior and feel free to ask for any help or just make (nice) conversation on my talkpage. I hope we can perhaps be friends and work together in the future. BTW, about the quotes sectons you wrote, they're definitely useful, just a bit excessive, here, you should put them all in Wikiquote, a place for (you guessed it) lots and lots of quotes. They'll have a good home there, I think. :) -MegamanZero 14:07, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- Ummm...OK. Since you tried to argue with me on my user page in a friendly manner, I guess we can end this dispute. BTW, I'm the creator of the KOF story FAQ at GameFAQS. I'll make good on my promise to fix the KOF character sections ASAP (without copying/pasting my work on it). I'll try to work them from the ground up. OK? --K Lantis 18:11, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- Interesting. Gamefaqs is an very informative site as far as info thesis and conformity go, and I hold writers of FAQ's there in high regard. Having a author from there is very benificial in my opinion, and I'm glad to have you with us. About fixing the KOF characters, be my guest- We're still missing a few bios (Heidern, Kula Diamond, etc.) and the ones already here need some Serious wikifying. The history sections in paticular could use a more professional way of formatting. I'm currently working on this myself, so be bold and tell me what you're working on and I vise versa. BTW, Ash Crimson would be a good place to start- move lists don't belong on wikipedia, and he could use more in-depth analysis.-MegamanZero 18:43, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] King of fighters characters
Perhaps a second perspective is in order. Personally I feel that having all the quotes for the characters is excessive. I would suggest you really try to find those quotes that really show what kind of personality the characters have. Anyway, it's good that you've been able to resolve this dispute in this manner. A lot of wikipedians could learn a lot from this, see for example Talk:Ken Kutaragi, where a personal dispute between two editors has made any editing by other editors practically impossible. You did start the discussion on MegamanZero's userpage by calling him a jackass, which clearly is a personal attack. You should really refrain from using such language, since it usually just makes resolving the conflict more difficult. Welcome to wikipedia! Jacoplane 18:54, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- Jacoplane, its okay. I already asked K Lantis if he could transport the quotes over to wikiquote, and he agreed. And Bygones are Bygones, he's clearly editting out of good faith, we just need to get him up to speed on Wikipedia policies. :)-MegamanZero 19:07, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] My contributions
- Well, I created the Kula Diamond section, as promised. I'm still a fool when it comes to linking the other characters mentioned there, so any help there? Maybe adding some pic would be nice, too.--K Lantis 18:04, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I'm on it. -MegamanZero 18:05, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

- Okay, its done. BTW, you did a great job. :)-MegamanZero 18:23, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] KOF articles
You seem to have been inactive as of late. No fair! :) I've had to do the KOF articles all by myself, please come back and help me out! -ZeroTalk 15:49, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Indeed! I've already worked on several profiles and all that jazz. I'm starting on the minor characters for the time being. --K Lantis 05:59, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

- Its jolly good you're back. I've been doing almost all of the work on these articles by myself (I even had to make most of them (like Ron)). Right now, I'm also working on my Samurai Shodown project; I've made most of the articles for that series too. Again, I'm estatic at your return, your assistance is greatly appreciated. -ZeroTalk 06:09, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

I'll take a look into that, too. For some ungodly reason, I played a lot of SS: Warriors' Rage for the PS back in the day, so I can shed some light on the profiles for the characters in that game. --K Lantis 06:12, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Yes, I saw that. I used your FAQ to complete the Warrior's Rage section for Haohmaru, as I've only played the Samurai Shodown - Samurai V, Samurai Shodown 64 and 64 2 3D iterations. So, in your humble opinion, what do you think of the job I've done on these SNK series'...? -ZeroTalk 06:21, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
It's all good, I mean, who else can claim they have info about such an obscure game like WR? Heh heh... It's a great job, overall. I especially dig those profile boxes.--K Lantis 06:28, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks. It took me awhile to create the code for those templates. However, the fact they are substed somewhat makes my other wikipedians cross, as you can see here. I'm working on creating them to be more simplistic while keeping them in the complicated extrusion. -ZeroTalk 07:06, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
