In reply to your message on my talk page: The reason why we cannot include statements which cannot be proven using reliable sources is because we need to aim at neutrality. If only one or two users know about the subject, and there is no authoratative source of information available, how can we be sure that the user is not lying or writing in a biased way? We cannot.

I know many Wikipedia articles are not up to scratch, but they exist because, hopefully, reliable sources might be found on them one day, thus they have a hope of achieving neutrality. If you feel that an article has no hope of finding reliable sources then the proper procedure is to go about requesting its deletion. --nkayesmith 11:02, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
