K. Silem Mohammad

K. Silem Mohammad is a "Flarf" concept poet from the West Coast. He received his Ph.D. in English Renaissance literature from Stanford University, and since 2004 has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Writing at Southern Oregon University. He is the author of Deer Head Nation (Tougher Disguises, 2003), a series of Flarf poems; and Monsters (Abraham Lincoln, 2006). Mohammad is one of the founding members of the "Flarf" movement, along with Gary Sullivan (the Founding Father of "Flarf"), Drew Gardner, and Jordan Davis.
