Kırklareli

Kırklareli (originally Kırkkilise (Forty Churches), Greek: Σαράντα Εκκλησιές, Saranta Ekklisyes, formerly Σαράντα Ἐκκλησίαι, Saranta Ekklesiai; Bulgarian: Лозенград, Lozengrad) is the capital of Kırklareli Province in the European part of Turkey, known as Thrace.
The city has a population of 53.000, with an important Roma population estimated to be between 15.000 and 25.000.[1]
