Kävlinge Municipality is a municipality in Skåne in southernmost Sweden where the Scanian town Kävlinge is seat.

Barsebäck is known as the location of a nuclear power plant, opened in the 1970s, but after decades of Danish protests -- Copenhagen being located just across the Sound -- closed in 2005.
