Käthe Wohlfahrt

Käthe Wohlfahrt is a German company specialising in the sale of items related to Christmas. Its shops are open all year round.
It was founded by Wilhelm Wohlfahrt and named after his wife. It started operating from their home in Herrenberg, Baden-Württemberg but in 1977 it opened a specialist shop in Rothenburg ob der Tauber and moved its headquarters there. Currently it operates shops in Nuremberg, Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Heidelberg, Rüdesheim am Rhein in Germany and in Riquewihr in France, Bruges in Belgium and in Stillwater in Minnesota.
It also runs a Christmas museum in Rothenburg.
