Five Pillars of Wikipedia
Float around for awhile until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. There are also many great committees and groups that focus on particular jobs. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English and Wikipedia:Cleanup for sloppy articles. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy.
There are a few crucial points to keep in mind when editing. Be civil with users, strive to maintain a neutral point of view, verify your information, and show good etiquette like signing your comments with four tildes like this: ~~~~ If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page or ask the true experts at Wikipedia:Help desk. [edit] List of Swedish noble families
I don't think linking the family names in this list to individuals is a good idea. You might consider creating a small article on the family, which can list the individuals who are sufficiently notable to already have or eventually get biographical articles, preferably with some brief annotation. (My rule of thumb for sufficient notability for Swedes: if somebody is included in Nordisk familjebok, Nationalencyklopedin or one of the larger non-specialized Swedish dictionaries of biography - Svenskt biografiskt handlexikon is most easily available on the web, but Svenskt biografiskt lexikon is better and more up-to-date.) - Alrighty... i saw someone else had done it with Adelcreutz, that why i did it. 23:18, 6 December (GMT).
[edit] Sources for Gunnar Heckscher
Hello, good work on Gunnar Heckscher, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. Can you list in the article any websites, books, or other sources that will allow people to verify the content in Gunnar Heckscher? You can simply add links, preferably as the inline citations, or see citation templates for different citation methods. Thanks! Lupin|talk|popups 03:20, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
