[edit] Merge into existing article

This page needs to be merged into the existing article - well I say merge - we need to take about a paragraph or two of this page - most of it is aimed at fan-boys not general readers. --Charlesknight 18:47, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

• I think we should just make this a redirect, since the info on the actual Justice League page is A) more relevant and B) is already actually updated to recent issues. Kusonaga 18:48, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

• I don't see why it needs to be merged. This article is about the current series, not the Justice League itself. I haven't had a chance to expand on the current storyline yet because I haven't gotten the latest issue. Besides, other titles have their own article like The Brave and the Bold and Action Comics. --Hemlock Martinis 19:36, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

And the Justice League article isn't only about the team either. The Justice League title logistically belongs on the Justice League page. Those titles have their own article because they didn't have their own article. Justice League of America does... the Justice League article. Kusonaga 19:44, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

That was done largely because it became entirely too unwieldy to keep it on the same page, considering the second vol. of X-Men is already nearing #200. JLofA hasn't even hit #12 yet. Kusonaga 20:13, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

It would seem to me that this is exactly what the {{main}} template is for. Give a synopsis on the JL page, along with the "main" template which links to here. What's the concern? - jc37 20:20, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

The X-men vol.2 article was split off it because too large for the main article and as it stands is a real-world look at the publication history. The contents of this page is a fannish look at issue 0. If and when we can see something interesting to say about the real-world impact of this volume, we can produce a page to describe it. I don't see a need for such a page at the present moment --Charlesknight 20:27, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
