Talk:Just price

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is important to note that the "just price" concept occurred in a society where market prices were largely determined by direct producers (farmers and craftspeople) without employers, and with merchant involvement confined to exotic goods or occasions of scarcity (including famine). Hence the examination of the subject from an abstract, ahistoric perspective is misleading. However, since this misconception is common, altering the entire article may violate the NPOV commandment.--Jack Upland 09:14, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
