Justin Bruening is an American soap opera actor known for his role as Jamie on "All My Children". He was born on September 24, 1979 in St. Helena, Nebraska (population 85). He graduated from high school with only nine classmates.

Following graduation, Justin moved to San Diego, California. It was there that he was discovered by a modeling agent at a restaurant. Soon there after, came his first modeling job for Abercrombie & Fitch.

Justin proposed to AMC co-star Alexa Havins on the set of the soap opera. They were married on June 5, 2005.

Soon after his first commercial job, Justin began to study acting and was noticed by All My Children's casting director, Judy Wilson. Justin originally auditioned for the role of JR Chandler on All My Children but was eventually cast in the role of James "Jamie" Martin in July of 2003. For a brief time in 2004 & 2005 Justin also portrayed Jamie Martin on One Life To Live during a storyline that appeared on both soap operas.

In addition to his work on the soaps, Justin has had a guest appearance on Hope & Faith and a small part in the movie Fat Girls.

He was considered for the role of Superman in the upcoming "Superman" movie, but the part was won by Brandon Routh instead.
