Just The Way I'm Feeling is the second single to be released from Feeder's fourth album Comfort In Sound.
The single itself charted at #10 at the end of its release week, and spent 8 weeks on the top 75, Feeder's longest running single. It was also a radio play hit gaining over 15,000 plays.[1]
The video features a woman involved in a dream world, with a male stanger attempting to save her.
The b-side "The Power of Love" is a Frankie Goes To Hollywood cover, and was recorded for the NME's War Child charity album "1 Love".
"Broken" was remixed in 2003 by Dutch remixer Junkie XL, changing the name to "Clouds". The song was once again influenced by another artist, when in 2006 Italian singer Zucchero released an album in Italy titled "Fly" and included a track titled "L'amore è nell'aria" ("The love is in the air"). The track used exactly the same instrumental but was recorded by his band rather than sampled from Feeder's own recording, Grant Nicholas is credited with permission given by the record company nine months before the recording was made.[2]
"Just The Way I'm Feeling" appears on The Singles. It also appeared at a peak of #41 on XFM's X-List in 2004.
