Jurong West New Town is the largest new town in the western part of Singapore. Built by the Housing and Development Board, it incorporates several older estates as well as those built by the Jurong Town Corporation, such as Boon Lay Estate and Taman Gardens. It is bounded by the Pan Island Espressway, the eastern edge of Jurong Camp, Boon Lay Way, Corporation Road, Fourth Chin Bee Road, International Road, Corporation Road, Ayer Rajah Expressway, Yuan Ching Road, Boon Lay Way, and along a Canal leading into Jurong Lake back up to the Pan-Island Espressway.
