Juraj Čobej

Juraj Čobej (born August 7, 1971 in Stropkov, Slovakia) is a professional Slovak footballer and currently plays for FC Artmedia Bratislava as goalkeeper.

Čobejs first club was Tesla Stropkov, moved 1997 to BSC Bardejov, joined Artmedia in the summer of 2000, played meantime 5 games for Slovan Bratislava. Čobej was one of best player for Artmedia, famously reached the lucrative group stages of the UEFA Champions League in 2005-06. After brain tumor treatment at December 15, 2005 Čobej played his first and probably last game - only two minutes - at May 20, 2006 in Slovak national team. He is now fighting to return to the Artmedia team, and is married with two daughters.
