Jura River (Paris)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jura river is the underground river believed by some to run under Paris.

According to Robert Charroux in Forgotten Worlds (1971), geologists know that a great underground river passes under Paris.

It is said to flow about three thousand feet below the surface and to be fed by underground water from the Jura Mountains, giving its name, the Jura River.
