Junius Street is a station on the IRT Eastern Parkway Line of the New York City Subway, currently served by mainly the 3 train, but also the 2, 4, and 5 trains. Located at Junius Street and Livonia Avenue in Brooklyn, it is a two-track station with two side platforms.
This station is the highest point on the Eastern Parkway Line, which rises here to traverse the BMT Canarsie Line; it is also the only station on the line with a center track. Just north of the station, a track splits from both the northbound and southbound track, merging to form the center track; this goes through the station and turns west, crossing the southbound track at grade. The track joins with one from the BMT Canarsie Line and heads to the Linden Shops. This center track does not have a third rail and thus can only be used by diesel trains or other non-electric equipment.
The station has a full windscreen. Outside of the fare control is an overpass allowing pedestrians on Livonia Avenue (which the Eastern Parkway Line is elevated above) to cross over the elevated BMT Canarsie Line tracks, above its Livonia Avenue station; there is a paid transfer here to the L.
