[edit] About Junior Kilat:
The reggae band Junior Kilat is mainly based in Cebu, but is popular in the Davao-Dumaguete-Bohol Area. Their name is taken from the 70's Cebuano band Leon Kilat, who they claim, sang first about "Agta". It's also one of the most popular reggae bands in Manila, considering their Song Of The Year Award in the NU107 Rock Awards for "Ako Si M16", their first single out of the album "party pipol ur on dub TV".
The group was first seen in the 2004 album "Island Riddims". Two of their tracks are found here, "K-Fyne" and "Original Sigbin". Both are performed live at The Baseline in Cebu City. Their second appearance was in the "Island Krismas" album with their track "Kling Klang".
In 2005, their first album "party pipol ur on dub TV" was released. Some of the tracks here are studio-dub, and some are performed live at Idiot Board, also in Cebu City.
Currently they have a new album entitled "Buwad Suka Sili". It contains 5 tracks, 2 music videos and "The Making of Ako Si M16 video". The video of K-Fyne is included in this album, but the recent lineup of Junior Kilat has changed. Jad Dapat, formerly the guitarist, has left the group and Archie Ybañez has taken over his place.

[edit] Recent Updates:
All 4 albums (Island Riddims, Island Krismas, Party Pipol Ur On Dub TV, Buwad Suka Sili) are now available at record bars around the country. Their show, "Ismol Tym" is currently aired in the Cebu-based channel RCTV. Diana Freese, Tiano Evangelista and Gina Pestaño are staff members of the show. As of now, they are under ABS-CBN. This is because of Budoy joining Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition. He has made 2 songs for the said show, "Maligo Na Jam" which was actually a poem composed by him while inside the PBB house, and "Budoy Ako", the Visayan version of "Pinoy Ako".
