The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 will be the fifth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It will be held in the Ahoy' indoor sporting arena in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on December 8th. [1] The host country was chosen by EBU on July 13, 2006. The host city was announced in September 11, 2006. However, due to broadcasters' low interest in partipicating, the future of the contest is uncertain.
- EBU has confirmed that the minimum age will be rised from 8 to 10 years.
- The basic logotype will also be changed.
- Lithuania has confirmed that they will participate in 2007.
- United Kingdom may return in 2007 following the change of president at ITV.
- There is a possibility that France may return in 2007.
