Jungfernheide (Berlin U-Bahn)

Jungfernheide is a station on the Berlin U-Bahn line U7. It was opened on October 1, 1980 with the line's extension from Richard-Wagner-Platz to Rohrdamm. Its name literally translates into "maiden's heathland"; it was named after what was once a large forest in the proximity of this station.
It lies between the stations Jakob-Kaiser-Platz and Mierendorffplatz.
Connected to the U-Bahn station Jungfernheide is also a station of the Berlin S-Bahn lines S41, S42, S45, S46 and S47.
