June Gonsalves was a radio broadcaster in Trinidad and Tobago for many years. She hosted several programs like the catholic issues every Sunday mornings at 10. She moved on to Trinidad and Tobago television as a TV announcer as well. She is the first female director of a Trinidadian radio show. Now she works with the Catholic church. She was knighted in 2000 and is now Dame June Gonsalves.
