The Jumeirah Lake Towers is a huge development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which consists of a 78 towers being constructed along the edges of Jumeirah Lake, an artificial lake. The total area covered by the lakes, waterways and landscaping will be 730,000 metres2. The towers will range from having 34 floors to having 65. The tallest tower in the entire complex is Almas Tower which will be situated on its own island within the lake as the centerpiece. All residential towers will be placed in clusters of three. This therefore makes the areas easier to navigate when mail is distributed.

The final tower is expected to be completed in 2008 with the first towers being completed in 2006. The majority of construction will take place during 2007.

One tower, Pacific Tower, was proposed as part of the plan however the plot of land on which it was to be built, was bought out by another company and will become plot for Vue De Lac Tower. Fourteen towers are still awaiting approval.

[edit] Clusters

Seven clusters have been named as of June 2006. They all contain three towers. Some clusters have towers with different names however, this is due to the developer. There maybe two or more developers on one cluster.
