Julio Cesar Garcia

Julio Cesar Garcia (born April 21, 1987 in Ciudad Acuña,Coahuila, Mexico) is a Mexican boxer who began his quest as a professional at the young age of fifteen. His professional boxing record is 38 wins and 2 losses and is only 19 years old. His promoter, Roberto Duran is a former world champ and some regard Duran as the greatest lightweight of all-time and one of the top 5 best pound for pound fighters ever. Many boxing experts think that Julio has a very bright future ahead of him as a Welterweight. His nickname is "Babyface" cause he looks so young and has a boxing resume of a veteran.

Garcia turned pro three days after turning 15, and has not looked back since making his pro debut against Hector Salazar. Since making his pro debut Garcia has won the World Boxing Council (WBC) Fecarbox Super Featherweight Title, the Mexican Super Featherweight Title, World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Light Welterweight Title, and the World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth Light Welterweight Title.

He recently knocked out Grover Wiley to capture the International Boxing Organization (IBO) Americas Welterweight Title and most latest bout was a victory against Alfonso Sanchez (20-5-1). It was the Undercard for Evander Holyfield's "Best Damn Comeback Period" where Holyfeild beat journeymen Jeremy Bates.
