Juliette (singer)

Juliette Augustina Sysak Cavazzi, C.M. (born 26 August 1927, St. Vital, Manitoba), nicknamed "Our pet", is a Canadian singer and television host who was featured on CBC Television from the 1950s through the 1970s.
The daughter of Polish-Ukrainian immigrants, she moved with her family to Vancouver in her youth, where she began her singing career in 1940. She was professionally known by simply her first name, Juliette, starting with her appearances with the Dal Richards band at the Hotel Vancouver at age 13.
She was married to singer and manager Tony Cavazzi for 40 years until his death. Juliette is now retired and lives in Vancouver, although she has occasionally made special appearances, such as an event marking the 85th birthday of bandleader Dal Richards in 2004.
