The Julier Pass (Romansh: Pass dal Güglia, German: Julierpass) is a mountain pass in Switzerland, in the Albula Range of the Alps. At 46°28.32′N 9°43.74′E, it connects the Engadin valley with the rest of Graubünden. Constructed during the nineteenth century to replace the old Septimer Pass, the road is well built and allows passing with normal cars or trucks, but will require proper equipment in winter (snow tires, sometimes even chains). Peak elevation is 2284 m above sea level.
