Julian Scriabin (February 1908–22 June 1919) was the son of Russian composer Alexander Scriabin and himself a composer and pianist. Considered a prodigy, as a composer Julian wrote a few preludes—two of which were published in Sbornik—and showed great promise. Julian drowned in the Dnieper River at Kiev at the age of eleven in a boating accident.
