Julia Alexandratou (Greek:Τζούλια Αλεξανδράτου), was born in 1986 to a Kefallonian father, an engineer, and an English mother, also a model. When she was a child she was a model for cream advertisements. Her sister Artemis is a singer and participant of a Greek talent show.
Julia has lived for several years in England and speaks English fluently.
In 2002 she won the title Miss Young (Greek: Μις Γιανγκ) when she was sixteen years old.
In 2006 Julia won the beauty title 'Miss Greece International 2006' (also called the 'Runner-up Star Hellas 2006' title, (Greek: 'Β Σταρ Ελλάς')) at the Miss Star Hellas pageant.
Alexandratou had been the bookmakers' favourite but the judges marked her down, allegedly for making "funny faces". She lost the title to Olympia Hopsonidou (Greek: Ολυμπία Χοψονίδου), who won the 'Miss Star Hellas' title (Greek: 'Μις Σταρ Ελλάς').
Even though she lost the top spot in the competition, Julia did win over a huge fan base in Greece.

Julia was a guest singer in a Greek song titled 'Only for You' (ΜΟΝΟ ΓΙΑ ΣΕΝΑ). She also appears performing in the video clip and has been asked to act in many others.
She has been offered a role as an actress (Nausicaa) in the movie Odyssey, based on the screenplay of Greek-Australian writer Spiros Kagadis. The movie is rumored to be filmed on location on Kefalonia, the origins of her paternal family side.[1][2]
Her personal web site (Alexandratou.com) has been recently credited by a national Greek newspaper, Traffic, as being the most popular in visitations among all Greek celebrities even though Julia Alexandratou only recently started her rapid ascent in Greece’s public life. This ascent began in April 2006 with her praiseworthy participation in Antenna TV’s annual beauty pageant.[3]
