Jules Fisher

Jules Fisher (born November 12, 1937) in Norristown, Pennsylvania is a prolific, award-winning, lighting designer and producer. He is credited with lighting designs for more than 200 productions over the course of his 40 year career in Broadway and off-Broadway shows, as well extensive work in film, ballet, opera, television, and rock-and-roll concert tours. He has been nominated a record 18 times for Tony Awards and won a record 8 Tony awards for Lighting Design.

Fisher is married to choreographer Graciela Daniele. He is a graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology. He and lighting designer Peggy Eisenhauer are partners in Third Eye Ltd, a firm specializing in entertainment and theatre lighting. He is also a principal in the consulting firm Fisher Dachs Associates and teaches at The New School.
