Jukka Jalonen

Jukka Jalonen (born November 2, 1962 in Riihimäki, Finland) is a Finnish professional ice hockey coach and former player.
Jalonen has coached several Finnish ice hockey teams in SM-Liiga: Ilves (1992-1995), Lukko (1996-1997), and HPK (2001-). During his coaching career he has won the Finnish Championship once: 2006, with HPK. He has won also three bronze medals; 2002, 2003, 2005. All of them with HPK.
Jalonen will be coaching Finnish national men's ice hockey team after 2007-08 season.
In his playing career, he played 2 SM-liiga games for JyP HT in the 1985-86 season. He also played for JYP, Jääahmat and Lohi in lower divisions.
