Judee Sill is the eponymous debut album by the Californian singer-songwriter and musician.
It was the first album released on David Geffen's Asylum label in 1971. It is a deceptively delicate album, with intricate melodies and arrangements. Sill was wrongly lumped in with the legion of West Coast songwriters of the early '70s, and her music today stands as some of the most original to come from the era. Sill released one more album during her lifetime, Heart Food, in 1973, before her death in 1979. Demos for an unreleased third album were finally released in 2005, more than three decades after they were originally recorded.
