Judah Friedlander
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Judah Friedlander is a popular comedian, his most well known schtick being "The World Champion of the World". His first official introduction to showbiz was actually as a soundman on future star Chris Rock's short Who is Chris Rock?, but ten years later, Friedlander started getting in front of the camera as a comic actor, following appearances on the now defunct series Lateline as a technician. He also performs at standup comedy venues.
With his trademark trucker's hat, oversized glasses and unkempt appearance, Friedlander is becoming an increasing comic commodity, most often as a scene stealer in a variety of mainstream comedies like Zoolander and Along Came Polly. His biggest role to date was as real life medical records clerk Toby Radloff in the critically acclaimed American Splendor, as Harvey Pekar's unusual friend. He most often appears in Ben Stiller's films, usually in a small role, beginning with Meet the Parents, making him a pledge of the Frat Pack.
Friedlander also appeared as "The Hug Guy" in the Dave Matthews Band video Everyday. He can also be seen in the Project Greenlight horror production Feast, and in the camp movie spoof Wet Hot American Summer.
In 2005, he appeared in the film, Pizza. In 2006, he began appearing on the television show 30 Rock. He plays one of the writers of The Girlie Show, a spoof of Saturday Night Live.
Friedlander also has the number 2 lead in David Munro's upcoming film Full Grown Men.
