A herd of demons have possessed a lot of animals and some humans, causing havok. To destroy a demon, one must shout its name, but there are a lot of them, so it won't be an easy task.

[edit] Gameplay

The gameplay is divided in two parts:

  • In the World, the player explores the territories, collects items, talks to people, obtains quests and also encounters groups of demons.
A fight is going on.

  • In Fights, the player combats groups of demons, by trying to shout out their names. Those names are written in hiragana in the easier zones as an introduction, then katakana and, for the rest of the game, kanji. Kana are used as the tool to display pronunciations when learning kanji, so they won't be forgotten.

As demons are destroyed, experience is acquired and levels advance, so does constitution (health points). Sometimes, the player will almost die, being transported to the hospital.

As the player advances, it eventually encounters the crystal ball, which can tell how much progress the player has made on his quest.
