jProteus, abbreviation of Joe Proteus, is my Nom de Clavier. Joe being my first name is easy for me to remember. If I were to go by Paul Proteus or some other first name I wouldn't think about it if someone mentioned me in a chatroom or message board, so I stuck with Joe, though at times I'd like to go by Lance.
Proteus is a mythological God, a shapeshifter really. I thought it was cool when me and my friend wanted to make a film company called, "The Proteun Group" being a group that does any number of things, or really, anything we want.
Regardless, I live in Salt Lake City, UT with my wife.
