Excuse me! Yesterday I was blocked for creating hoaxes and being stupid - fair enough, I served my punishment and I accept that. However today I have not created hoax pages, I have added genuine birthdays and created a page for my username - nothing else. You can check my history since I was blocked last night - I have added Birthdays to 27th of January - each person's birthday was 27th of January - so no hoaxing or vandalism there. I have not created any pages (other than making my username page). I don't get why I have been blocked this afternoon.
- I've seen the deletion log. And if you think you not editing for a few hours some how makes up for the hours of people time you wasted by creating your childish hoax pages, then you are seriously deluded. No unblock. --pgk(talk) 12:27, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

- Replace the unblock tag again and you'll lose the privilege of editing this page. You've been told no, the account you used has been blocked "INDEFINITELY", so no you haven't "served your time". This block is for 24 hours, come back after that time and edit constructively and there will be no further blocks. --pgk(talk) 12:35, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry for annoying you again, but I am not sure you understand what I am saying. Last night from 23:00 to about 00:30 I was creating hoax pages and being stupid and immature. I was then blocked at about 00:30 by "bunchofgrapes" administrator. That is the punishment I served. I came back onto Wikipedia this morning to do some editing etc. under a fresh user name (because that is what bunchofgrapes told me to do) and all I have done since the punishment issued to me last night is edit "constructively" as you put it. I have only added genuine birthday information to 27 January. Since my punishment last night I have not acted immaturely, childishly or inappropriately. I simply edited my username page and the birthday page, and then you blocked me, and I don't know why. I know I have hoaxed and fooled about in the past, but I ws punished for that before you punished me about 30mins ago. I served my punishment for that and now you have given me another one. I have seriously not been stupid since my punishment.
- I understand the situation perfectly, you were blocked yesterday and you've come back today and your editing actions has lead another admin to block you. --pgk(talk) 12:43, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
you say i have been blocked again this afternoon because I have violated your rules again. What in particular have I done. This is gay
- if you say you made another account, then sockpuppetry? ST47 13:36, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
I was told by bunchofgrapes last night to make a new account and start fresh on here. THat isnt me breaking the rules if an administrator told me to do it. Also you can identify who i am by IP Adress, its not like i was being crafty or anything. I was seriously recommended by bunchofgrapes to start fresh with a new acount.
Quote: I've indefinitely blocked this account, since it has contributed nothing but vandalism and hoaxes. Unless if you are notable yourself, we don't want a serious page talking about you either. Feel free and make a fresh start with a new name if you wish, after the autoblocks stop kicking in (24 hours from now). —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 00:07, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- And that was? <24 hours ago per chance. Well now you've a 24 hour block so all seems even to me. --pgk(talk) 14:17, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
{{unblock}} sorry or this request, I was just wondering can i contact you administrators in any other way than saying "unblock" like this if I have a quiery or something? Thanx dudes

[edit] What happened?
I guess you may be a little confused to what happened. Firstly it is generally considered a bad idea to create articles about yourself, or "non-notable" people. If you become sufficiently famous, someone will create an article about you. Secondly, while I can understand that if you are a footballer you will know about other footballers with the same birthday, a moments reflection will show that with the hundreds of thousands of people in the category:living people (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Living_people ) let alone Category:Disappeared people, Category:Possibly living people, and Category:Dead people, the birthdays would be overloaded and of limited use even if we included all those with WP articles. Hence on each page it advises
- Do not add people without Wikipedia articles to this list
- warning you may have missed. But fear not, from 12:13 tomorrow, you will be able to make edits again, by then you will have had time to read some of the guidance for editors. Good luck. Rich Farmbrough 22:32 20 August 2006 (GMT).
