I am a postdoc in mathematics, specifically in symplectic topology and algebraic geometry, more specifically relative Gromov-Witten invariants. My home page can be found at http://www.math.duke.edu/~jdavis/. I contribute to Wikipedia sporadically; when I do, it's usually
- revising/creating articles on topology/geometry and mathematical physics (Wikipedia can help close the language gap between math and physics),
- reorganizing articles on all sort of topics, even ones I know little about (Wikipedia articles develop "organically" and thus often lack structure),
- patrolling for vandals.
